A total of 8 of these sets are used in the car.

This allows the brake shoes to be adjusted.

Sometimes the teeth are worn out, or the entire set no longer clamps properly on the anchor plate.

These sets are replaceable, although they are not screwed, but riveted / pressed.

It is important to adhere to the following order:

The easiest method to neatly rivet the bolt is to loosen the complete wheel unit, so that you can place it loose on the workbench or under the press.

It is important to properly support the bolt (at the rear).

After this you can press the tip of the bolt with a thin chisel.

3x, in cross pattern.

The entire set should be secured in such a way that it can no longer be turned by hand, but of course it can be turned with a wrench.
